Author Spotlight

Velma Yarock and Dominick DeFelice are a grandmother and grandson writing duo originally from the New York Tristate area. Velma was born in Manhattan in the 1930's and Dominick on Long Island in the early 1990's. Both live in eastern North Carolina.

The pair has bonded over fiction, particularly science fiction and fantasy, for decades and enjoy reading Piers Anthony, Eion Colfer, C.S. Lewis, Isaac Asimov, and many others. Velma started writing about a necklace of planets before Dominick was even born, and over many years, the work expanded into three novels (and counting). They are excited to share their writing with science fiction fans young and old, from galaxies near and far.
